City Projects

This page provides an overview of ongoing and recently discusses projects affecting Bellerive Acres. Information is based on publicly available meeting materials, resources, and updates.

  • At the April 16 meeting, the Board approved a contract with E. Meier Contracting Inc. totaling $41,480. This total reflects a combination of selected base work and one additional option from the bid.

    The total project cost is $41,480, which includes:

    • Milling and asphalt work (#13–#22): $23,100

    • Base repairs (#19–#21): $2,040

    • Milling and asphalt work (#8–#76): $16,340

    Work is anticipated to begin in May or June, with residents in affected areas to be notified as schedules are confirmed.

    Additionally, the Street Commission shared that, at the recommendation of the Tree Board, unused millings and scraped materials from the project will be repurposed to help improve paths in the Bellerive Acres Bird Sanctuary.

  • AT&T crews have now begun work around the neighborhood installing fiber optic cables.

    crews out marking the streets with paint and yards with flags and paint to identified utilities.  Each flag color represents a certain utility within the 13 foot easement they have permission to work within:

    Yellow - Gas line

    Orange - Telecommunication

    Blue - Water

    Red - Electricity 

    Green - Sewer drain

    They plan to start work on Monday, April 6th, and is expected to take one month. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Angel Rivera, who is overseeing the project at (407) 810-2497.

  • The city is currently waiting to receive finalized easement plats from MSD and Clayton Engineering. Those will then be sent to residents, so that they may proceed with signing and notarizing. Please reach out to our City Clerk directly if planning to utilize the city’s notary services. The public Library on Natural Bridge Road also offers free notary services.
